Dr Deimantè Vasiliauskaitė

Professor Deimante Vasiliauskaite is Professor and Chief Research Scientist at Vilnius University Business School, where she also leads the Finance and Economics Competencies Group. She has been affiliated with Vilnius University since 2003.

Alongside her academic career, Professor Vasiliauskaite has extensive professional experience in commercial and central banking. She holds a general finance broker licence, the European Financial Analyst Diploma awarded by the European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies, and the International Fixed Income and Derivatives Certificate issued by the International Capital Market Association in London.

She has also completed the Certificate on Climate Change: Financial Risks and Opportunities at Imperial College Business School and the Fintech Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Her areas of expertise include banking, sustainable finance, international finance, corporate finance, financial markets, financial engineering, big data, and financial technologies.
