Tim Clayton

Tim Clayton is based in Medical Statistics Department, LSHTM, and is a Professor in Applied Medical Statistics. He has worked on the design, analysis and management of randomised controlled trials, particularly in cardiovascular disease, for over 30 years. He is also involved in work to reduce the inequalities in cardiovascular health by advancing the awareness, understanding and representation of women in cardiovascular trials.

 

Tim teaches on the Clinical Trials and Advanced Statistical Methods in Epidemiology modules at LSHTM as well as a number of short courses, including Essentials of Clinical Trials, and online courses as part of the Improving Hypertension Control in Rural sub-Saharan Africa research programme.
